Welcome to Quality of Life Massage Therapy, LLC! I pride myself on providing personalized and empathetic care. My approach ensures that every service is tailored to your unique needs, contributing to your comfort and peace of mind. I practice from a holistic, body-mind approach, focusing on how physical tension holds emotional stress. My goal is to create a secure 'therapeutic center'- a safe, calm space where clients can relax, re-center, and let their bodies heal. I listen with my hands. My focus is on attunement- reading subtle cues in muscle tension and breathing to understand what the client needs in that moment.
Since graduating from the McCann School of Business and Technology in 2011, I have dedicated my career to providing highly specialized, compassionate bodywork. With an Associate Degree in Professional Massage Therapy and a diverse background as both a practitioner and instructor, I specialize in supporting clients through some of life’s most delicate transitions. My goal is to provide safe, ethical, and evidence-based care tailored to the individual. My 16 years of experience and education in the field of massage therapy includes advanced training in Sports, Anatomy and Physiology, Trigger Point, Oncology, Pre-Natal, Hospice, Trauma-Infomed massage therapy, cupping, CBD massage, and deep tissue.
I provide a safe space for you to release, renew, and relax. I am a steward of wellness helping you tune into your own body and begin your path to restoration. My focus is on intuitive therapeutic touch listening through my hands to what your body needs rather than following a set pattern of massage. I hold space for you to unravel from stress, pain, or grief. Committed to facilitating your body's natural healing process through compassionate, customized care.

Specialized Massage and Support Services
I offer a range of specialized services designed to meet diverse needs, from therapeutic massage to compassionate end-of-life support. My focus is on understanding your unique circumstances and providing effective, comforting solutions.
Oncology Massage & Unite For Her Approved Provider
Gentle, adaptive massage for individuals undergoing cancer treatment, or in remission. My training in oncology with the Society for Oncology Massage (S4OM) enables me to provide specialized, safe, and nurturing touch to clients living with cancer, from diagnosis through recovery and survivorship. Adapting massage techniques for client comfort, safety, and reduced anxiety. Being an S4OM trained therapist means I have completed advanced education beyond foundational massage training to safety and effectively work with clients living with cancer, in treatment, or in recovery. The training focuses on modifying pressure, speed, positioning, and techniques to accommodate side effects of treatments like chemotherapy, radiation, medications, and surgery, such as lymphedema risks. Additionally, I am a Unite for Her approved provider, honoring UFH passports for massage therapy services. Every session a holistic massage experience, combining therapeutic touch with sensory care. My sessions include a curated, aromatherapeutic journey, paired with soundscapes customized to your mood integrating body, mind, and spirit.
Palliative & Hospice care
Supportive massage focused on comfort and symptom relief for those facing serious illness. Mobile visits to your home or facility. Meeting you where you are along your life journey. Palliative care is care provided at any stage of a serious illness along curative treatment. Hospice is a type of palliative care specifically for the end of life, usually life expectancy is 6 months or less and curative treatments have stopped. Palliative care starts at diagnosis and Hospice is for the final phase of life. Hospice care shifts entirely to comfort. Palliative care allows concurrent treatment and can be provided for years. Fully clothed, table-free therapeutic massage. This massage can entail oil, no oil, cream, no cream. You are welcome to remove as much clothing as you are comfortable with. The goal is to prioritize your dignity, comfort, and autonomy while adapting massage techniques meeting you where you are physically, mentally, and emotionally. I combine a holistic mobile massage experience combining therapeutic touch with sensory care. My sessions include a curated aromatherapeutic journey paired with soundscapes customized to your mood.
Geriatric Massage
Specialized massage techniques to address the unique needs of older adults. A specialized gentle form of therapeutic touch for individuals 65 and up that modifies techniques to suit fragile skin, joint stiffness, and chronic conditions. Massage is done on the table (in office), seated or side-lying focusing on light massage techniques, such as gliding, kneading, and compressive holds to reduce pain, anxiety, improve circulation, and improve mobility. Gentle techniques, safety-focused, customized positioning, and passive movement. A tailored, empathetic, and cautious approach to bodywork designed to increase comfort and improve the quality of life rather than intense rehabilitation.
Grief Support & Doulagiver Services
Compassionate emotional, physical, and spiritual support during end-of-life transitions and grief. Grief is a natural and deeply personal response to loss. It can follow the death of a loved one, but it may also arise from changes such as serious illness, moving, retirement, divorce, separation, infidelity in a relationship or friendship, caregiving, or the anticipation of loss. Loss is not just the result of death. Every person experiences grief from a loss differently—there is no “right” way to grieve and no set timeline for healing. Having support during grief can make a meaningful difference. Compassionate presence, gentle touch, and a calm environment can help ease both emotional and physical stress. Services such as massage therapy or end-of-life doula care can provide moments of comfort, connection, and rest during difficult times.
An end-of-life Doulagiver provides non-medical, holistic support to individuals and families during the final stages of life. Much like a birth doula supports the beginning of life, a doulagiver offers guidance, comfort, and presence during life’s closing chapter.
An end-of-life doulagiver supports emotional, physical, and spiritual needs through:
-
Compassionate presence and companionship
-
Emotional support for individuals and families
-
Assistance creating a calm, comforting environment
-
Guidance through the dying process
-
Sitting vigil and offering reassurance
-
Supporting meaningful conversations or legacy work
-
Providing comfort-focused care alongside hospice teams
This care is non-medical and works in partnership with hospice, nurses, and other healthcare providers.
The Meaning Behind My Logo
My logo is a tribute to a mutli-generational legacy of integrity. The willow tree was my Dad's favorite tree, the red fox tail represents my family name, and the infinity sign at the end of the tail connecting to the leaves of the willow tree symbolizes enduring love, connection, and unwavering faith that I will be reunited with my Dad again and represents my enduring commitment to growth and the timeless values that guide my work today. The Foundation is my father's legacy. The Willow Tree stands for resilience and growth to endure, adapt, and remain flexible with my life journey. The Infinity Sign represents continuity and commitment of my limitless potential and evolution of myself and my practice - Massage Therapy to Live, Doulagiver to Transition. My logo features a willow tree to symbolize a sustainable, cyclical journey- honoring our return to the Earth from which we come. Genesis 3:19 states, "By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return."
"Great masseuse always very helpful and professional. I have cancer and I look forward to my visit every week. Feels great!!"
Frank
"Sherrie created a very calming space, and I was very happy with the massage I received. I felt more relaxed, less tensed and stressed, and experienced better range of motion in my neck compared to going in. Highly recommend."
Justine
"Sherry really does have healing hands. She is so personable and professional. The minute she places her hands on you the pain just goes away. I literally walked out of her office feeling stress free and light as air. Thank you so much Sherry. I will definitely be seeing you soon!"
